The brand has seen guests sharing episodes across their own platforms and driving enquiries from new audiences
Ahmedabad: KK Jewels has expanded its engagement with wedding consumers through its podcast series ‘Wedding Gamechangers’. Hosted by the company’s Managing Director Kailash Kabra, the podcast places the brand within conversations that surround weddings rather than limiting interaction to product purchase. Four episodes of the podcast have been released so far.
In a recent episode, the guest was Dr Shailee Banker, dermatologist and cosmetologist, where discussions centred around bridal preparations before a wedding, timelines for skin and body care, and how beauty decisions intersect with jewellery selection. Other episodes too featured experts from various services related to weddings, such as a prominent event designer and a foodpreneur.
By bringing experts from various related fields into dialogue, KK Jewels aims to gain early insights into the scale and setting of ceremonies. These inputs can then help the team guide clients towards jewellery aligned with the venue, theme and format of the celebration.
Kailash Kabra, Managing Director, KK Jewels, said, “Today, it is important for a jeweller to understand the size of the wedding, the venue, the décor partner and the caterer. If we know where the wedding is taking place, for example in Jaipur, we can suggest jewellery and concepts that match that environment.”
Kabra noted that the podcast format allows viewers to absorb detailed information in a way that short digital captions cannot provide.“A podcast becomes a real conversation. Viewers understand the process, the timing and how different services come together before the wedding. The response translated into increased visibility as collaborators shared the episodes with their own followers, prompting fresh enquiries from prospective buyers,” he said.
KK Jewels has seen partner networks extend the reach of the series, with guests sharing episodes across their own platforms and driving enquiries from new audiences. While the company does not plan to make‘Wedding Gamechangers’an ongoing programme, the curated set of conversations is intended to cover key aspects of the wedding journey while strengthening the brand’s relevance across categories.
Founded in 2006 by Kailash Kabra, KK Jewels (now Kabra Jewels Limited) has grown into a leading jewellery house in Ahmedabad with seven stores across the city.
