The publication preserves four generations of entrepreneurship, craftsmanship and customer trust, offering a blueprint for continuity in a changing luxury landscape
Ludhiana: As Khurana Jewellery House marks 75 years in business, the legacy jeweller is commemorating the milestone with a coffee table book that goes far beyond documenting dates and achievements. The publication serves as a tribute to the people, values and defining moments that have shaped the family enterprise across four generations.
“It is much more than a timeline of our business,” says Soumya Peshawaria Khurana, Director, Khurana Jewellery House. “It stands as a physical memoir of what the business actually stands for, what our values are, and what our journey has been through the years.”
Beginning in Amritsar’s historic Guru Bazaar, the book traces Khurana Jewellery House’s journey to becoming one of Punjab’s leading jewellery retailers, highlighting milestone decisions such as embracing diamonds and polki jewellery early on and relocating to Mall Road, moves that helped redefine the region’s jewellery landscape.
The publication celebrates the people behind the enterprise, from the kaarigars whose skill brings each creation to life, to the loyal patrons who have supported the brand across generations. “We’ve built relationships with clients who have now become family,” says Khurana, adding that the book also captures how the brand has often taken Indian craftsmanship beyond India.
The publication also captures Khurana Jewellery House’s evolution beyond jewellery, highlighting the launch of Katyor by KGH, the growth of its silver segment under ‘The Silver Story’, and its expanding presence across Punjab.
Khurana notes that the book was never intended as a marketing exercise. “Our first intention was never to create a marketing piece,” she explains. “We wanted to create something meaningful—something that preserves our story and honours the generations that built Khurana Jewellery House.” While elements of the book may be integrated into digital and in-store story-telling, the focus remains on communicating the philosophy that has guided the business for 75 years: trust, craftsmanship, innovation and enduring relationships.
The coffee table book serves as a bridge between Khurana Jewellery House’s past and future, celebrating decades of memories with loyal patrons while offering younger generations an insight into the values that have shaped the brand. As the family business enters its next phase of growth, the publication seeks to preserve not only its milestones but also its enduring principles of integrity, craftsmanship and trust. “True luxury is not just what you create—it’s the values you uphold while creating it,” said Khurana, talking about the legacy the brand hopes future generations will continue to cherish.
The publication becomes more than a commemorative keepsake; it stands as a blueprint for continuity, demonstrating that sustainable growth is built not only on commercial success, but on the values that endure across generations.
Khurana Jewellery House operates three stores in Punjab, including its flagship showroom in Ludhiana and two stores in Amritsar, alongside a dedicated silver boutique under ‘The Silver Story’.
