Hari Krishna Group hosts International Yoga Day. 2318 yoga enthusiast participated in the event



With an aim of offering peace and internal rejuvenation, Hari Krishna Group celebrated International Yoga Day by organising a Yoga event for its employees with families and well-wishers, at Jio Garden, BKC in Mumbai. More than 2318 individuals participated with great zeal and supported this initiative for a healthy living.

The participants then rolled out their mats to perform various yoga asanas and breathing exercises as per the common yoga protocol. Simultaneously, a mass yoga event was held in HK Group’s Surat office.

Hari Krishna Group promotes a culture of employee wellbeing, and is dedicated to empower employees with yoga to create healthier, happier lives. The organisation also conducts focussed Yoga Shibirs in Surat for a month in the first half of every year. The management of the group realized that the integrated wellbeing of the employees is ensured through encouraging them to participate whole heartedly in Yoga programs.

Mr. Ghanshyam Dholakia, Founder and Managing Director, said, ‘’Celebrating the 4th International Yoga Day spreads a message of the many benefits of practicing yoga in our daily lives.  Yoga is a unique way to approach an individual’s health and happiness and we have been motivating our employees to practice and understand the ancient roots of yoga. It was great to see our employees supporting this event by participating enthusiastically and performing yoga asanas to welcome more peace and harmony in their lives.’’

The mass yoga demonstration of employees takes forward the Government of India’s vision to build awareness of yoga as a practice that unites mind, body and soul of every individual.
