Hari Krishna Exports hosts a Blood Donation Camp

Hari Krishna Group, a leading name in Gems and Jewellery industry, organised a blood donation drive on 13th February,2020at The Capital, BKC. The donation camp was held on the occasion of HK’s 7th anniversary at The Capital, BKC, the drive was open for company employees and common masses. The camp was aimed to emphasise blood donation awareness and its importance of saving lives.

HK group holds blood donation drives thrice a year and over 10772units of blood has been collected from Surat and Mumbai office.

The event was graced by Dr.Sachhidanand S. P. – Rajawadi Hospital, Mr.Ashu Patel–Authorand other entrepreneurs from the diamond industry.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr.Ghanshyam Dholakia, Founder and Managing Director, HK Exports Pvt Ltd. said, “Blood donation is one of the finest gestures one can make to save lives. Every second, there may be a patient waiting for a blood transfusion to survive and many patients requiring transfusion do not have timely access to safe blood. The aim behind this noble cause is to bridge the blood shortage gap and empower the humanitarian responsibility of saving lives. While honouring all regular blood donors today, we also hope that young people may be encouraged to become regular blood donor and aid in saving lives.’’

The blood donation drive was concluded by giving a token of appreciation, the blood donors were presented with electric heating bags, certificates and books along with their donor cards.

Help for humanity

Hari Krishna Exports Pvt. Ltd. through its community outreach programmes and initiatives continues to contribute towards the welfare of the society. To limit the spread of CORONAVIRUS the company has also initiated a campaign to contribute 0.25% of the amount for charity from the client’s purchase of diamonds.
