Rome: Italian luxury jewellery house Bvlgari has appointed Academy Award-nominated actor Florence Pugh as its newest global ambassador, further strengthening its strategy of aligning with culturally influential voices to reinforce brand storytelling and global desirability.

Pugh joins an elite roster that includes fellow house ambassadors like Jake Gyllenhaal, Dua Lipa, Anne Hathaway, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Zendaya, Damiano David, Liu Yifei, Kim Ji-won and Blackpink superstar Lisa—each representing distinct audience cohorts and global markets.

Widely regarded as one of the most compelling actors of her generation, Pugh brings a distinct blend of authenticity, versatility, and modern femininity to the maison’s ambassador portfolio. Her addition signals Bvlgari’s continued focus on engaging younger, globally connected audiences through personalities who embody individuality and creative expression.

“Becoming a Bvlgari ambassador is about more than wearing extraordinary jewellery,” says Pugh. “It’s about being part of a legacy that celebrates fearless female artistry, where every creation tells a story. I’m honoured to partner with a maison that allows me to express my individuality while embodying its spirit.”

The announcement comes at a pivotal moment in Pugh’s career, with 2026 shaping up to be a landmark year. The actor is set to star in and produce ‘East of Eden’, while also featuring in major global releases including ‘Dune: Part Three’ and ‘Avengers: Doomsday’. Her growing presence across blockbuster cinema and independent story-telling aligns with Bvlgari’s positioning at the intersection of heritage, artistry and contemporary culture.

Industry observers note that Bvlgari’s ambassador strategy has consistently focused on high-visibility, cross-industry icons who command both red carpet influence and cultural relevance.

Pugh’s strong red carpet presence is expected to further amplify Bvlgari’s visibility across international events, where jewellery plays a critical role in shaping luxury narratives. As brands compete for attention in an increasingly experience-driven luxury landscape, such associations are becoming key to driving aspiration and emotional engagement.

The move also underscores a broader shift in luxury jewellery marketing—from product-centric communication to personality-led story-telling. By leveraging Pugh’s rising global influence, Bvlgari is reinforcing its positioning as a maison that celebrates bold self-expression while remaining rooted in its Roman heritage.

Founded in Rome in 1884 by Greek silversmith Sotirio Bulgari, Bvlgari is a premier Italian luxury house renowned for high jewellery, watches, fragrances and accessories. Famous for its distinctive design language and coloured gemstone expertise, the brand has more than 300 stores worldwide across more than 60 countries.
