IGI D Show gives Indore a design edge
The event witnessed the confluence of artistic impressions and finesse with twenty leading design professionals unveiling their collections for diamond jewelry aficionados.
Indore, Madhya Pradesh (January 15, 2019): The International Gemological Institute, IGI, organized the IGI D Show on January 9 and 10, 2019. The show was the first among IGI’s regional format and witnessed an incredible array of designs from some of the most reputed names in the diamond jewelry industry. The show, hosted at the Marriott Indore, facilitated over 500 meetings in two days, giving both the manufacturer and the retailer a convenient platform to connect and explore novel business pursuits.
The show, known for its unique format has been a catalyst at creating transformational relationships among industry personnel and the fraternity is fully appreciative of the initiative. “It is indeed a pleasure to be a part of the IGI D show. The regional format is a great concept and has given us a platform to showcase our design collection to diamond jewelry appreciators in Indore and other parts of Central India. We are truly glad to be a part of the show,” said Sanjay Kakadia of Sheetal Manufacturing Co.
The retailers in Indore explored a whole new side of design and IGI has, in true sense brought exceptional patterns from across the county for the consumers in Indore. “The D Show has proved its potential as an amazing platform for manufacturers and retailers to network and create business. The regional format too, is a great initiative to explore the hidden opportunities in the many regions in our country,” said Darpan Anand of Punjab Jewel. Aakaar- The Design Studio continued to take the participants through the journey of jewelry. From an inspiration to a creation, jewelry was perceived of as a whole new experience.
“Design is the core of exquisite diamond jewelry. We are glad that this edition of the D Show has been successful at creating new relationships and has assisted the participants explore new business opportunities. The show has brought a design celebration to Central India, helping customers from the area have access to classic patterns in diamond jewelry without travelling to other cities for their purchases,” said Tehmasp Printer, MD, IGI. “The intent of the regional format this year, is to introduce new manufacturers from pan India with creative and saleable designs to jewelers, who can thereby enhance the sales at their stores,” said Ramit Kapur, General Manager, IGI-India.
The D Show began its journey in 2011 and has evolved into a true buyer-seller knowledge meet. Over the years, IGI has focused on the creation of an unbiased platform for diamond jewelry manufacturers and retailers to connect with each other and gain insights and grow, giving impetus to the overall development of the industry.
