The invite-only initiative transformed the brand’s store into a live ramp, allowing customers to interact naturally with its bridal collections and get familiar with its Bridal Pavilion
Coimbatore: Jewellery retailer Jewel One recently transformed its flagship store in Coimbatore into an immersive runway, leveraging experiential marketing to increase footfalls, encourage deeper customer engagement and showcase its Bridal Pavilion.
The show reflected the retailer’s focus on creating memorable in-store experiences that move beyond conventional product displays, allowing customers to interact with its bridal collections in a lifestyle-led environment.
“The bridal showcase, held at our Jewel One flagship store, was an exclusive, invite-only event. Guests enjoyed a fashion walk featuring bridal jewellery inspired by traditions from different parts of India, curated from our Bridal Pavilion. The event allowed them to experience the jewellery in a more engaging and realistic bridal setting,” said Toji Thomas, Assistant General Manager, Jewel One.
The runway featured accomplished women from Coimbatore representing industries including fashion, entrepreneurship, medicine and fitness, reflecting the brand’s focus on authenticity and relatability. “We selected women from diverse professional backgrounds to make the showcase more relatable and to celebrate confidence, individuality and achievement,” Thomas said.
By converting its flagship store into a fashion runway, Jewel One encouraged visitors to engage more deeply with its retail environment while increasing awareness about its Bridal Pavilion. The format enabled customers to interact with the collections in context, transforming the store from a transactional space into an experiential destination.
“Our objective was to create an engaging in-store experience while introducing our bridal collections to a distinguished group of potential customers. The event helped bring new visitors to the store and created greater awareness about our flagship store and Bridal Pavilion,” Thomas said.
The fashion show demonstrated how experiential retail can continue generating value after the event, with customer participation helping sustain brand visibility beyond the showroom. ” Guests also shared photographs and videos on their social media platforms, which generated positive conversations and extended the reach of the event through word of mouth,” Thomas added.
Following the positive response, Jewel One plans to continue investing in experience-led retail formats. “Experiential events will continue to be an important part of our retail strategy. We regularly organize activities such as art workshops, styling sessions, fashion showcases and other interactive events. These experiences help us build meaningful relationships with existing customers while also introducing potential customers to Jewel One in a more engaging way,” Thomas concluded.
Jewel One, a retail jewellery brand from the manufacturing house of Emerald Jewel Industry India Limited, offers jewellery collections crafted from precious metals and stones including gold, diamond, platinum and silver, across 15 showrooms located in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Puducherry.
