The partnership gave the brand access to potential customers, while reinforcing engagement and enquiries driven by the event
Windsor: Kataria Jewellers has taken a step onto the international stage through its association with the Asia Cup Polo 2026 tournament at Windsor, a historic town in Berkshire, England, aligning the brand with a sport that carries legacy and commands global attention. The move signals a shift in how the brand is positioning itself, linking its identity with platforms that draw an audience beyond traditional jewellery retail.
The association is rooted in a shared outlook between the sport and the brand. Polo, known for its history and patronage, brings together individuals who value craftsmanship and legacy elements that also define the jewellery house. By placing itself within this setting, Kataria Jewellers is extending its reach to a global audience while reinforcing its standing among customers who engage with such platforms.
Harsh Kataria, Managing Director, Kataria Jewellers, said, “The Asia Cup Polo 2026 at Windsor represents a convergence of values that resonate with us, and this association reflects our vision of aligning with platforms that celebrate craftsmanship and legacy. It allows us to strengthen our position while expanding our presence among international audiences.”
The brand has approached this association as part of a wider marketing effort, integrating it across digital channels, in-store communication and on-ground presence. On social media, the focus has been on story-telling, with content built around the event, the sport and its connection to the brand. These narratives are designed to engage both existing followers and new audiences, creating a link between the jewellery and the context in which it is presented. In-store, the association is reflected through displays and communication that highlight the event, ensuring that customers experience the same narrative across touchpoints.
The audience at Asia Cup Polo 2026 includes business leaders, international celebrities and individuals who engage with global sports. This allowed the brand to connect with new audience segments representing potential jewellery-buyers, supporting its efforts towards customer acquisition. The association also introduced Kataria Jewellers to a younger audience that follows such events through digital platforms.
Speaking on the response, Kataria said, “We have seen engagement across our digital platforms and increased interest from prospective customers, with conversations and enquiries reflecting the impact of this association.”
Associations with international events serve as a way to build brand recall and credibility. By connecting with audiences in environments outside the store, retailers can create awareness that translates into long-term engagement. Such initiatives help position the brand within a broader context, also enhancing visibility through consistent communication across channels.
The Kataria Jewellers brand traces its origins to 1909, when Shri Dhulchand Ji Sa Kataria established it as Daulatram Dhulchand. The name was changed to Dhulchand Pannalal in 1962 and later rebranded as Kataria Jewellers in 1999. The company operates two stores in Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh, in addition to its recently opened showroom in Indore. It has an upcoming store in Kota, Rajasthan.
