Arundhati Foundation Collects 1,500 Units of Blood

The Arundhati Foundation, run by Arundhati Jewellers, successfully carried out two major public welfare programmes on February 25, 2006.
Arundhati Foundation organized large voluntary blood donation camps across 10 major cities of Odisha – at Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Puri, Berhampur, Rourkela, Sambalpur, Balangir, Bargarh, Bhawanipatna and Angul.
While 1,000 units of blood were collected in last year’s camp organized by Arundhati Foundation, this year the Foundation created a new milestone by collecting 1,500 units of blood, which has the power to save precious human lives.
Alongside this initiative, Arundhati Foundation inaugurated a ‘Pure Cold Drinking Water Project’ at the premises of Shri Ram Mandir in Bhubaneswar, with the objective of providing clean drinking water to thousands of devotees visiting the temple as well as to the general public.
Arundhati Jewellers Managing Director Brahmananda Meher personally led the campaign while motivating all blood donors and organizers. “Whether it is blood donation or drinking water projects, Arundhati Foundation has always actively contributed to various aspects of social welfare. Understanding its social responsibility, the Foundation will continue such dedicated efforts for the welfare of society in the future as well,” Meher said, while thanking all voluntary blood donors and well-wishers across Odisha.
Founded in 2000, Arundhati Jewellers today operates 10 showrooms across Odisha, with a strong focus on long-term customer relationships built over the last 25 years.
