The day-long programme included blood donation camps, tree plantation activities and food distribution efforts across cities such as Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru, Madurai and Vijayawada
Mumbai: KISNA Diamond & Gold Jewellery, the flagship diamond and gold jewellery brand of the Hari Krishna Group, recently organized a large-scale corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative across South India, conducting multiple community-focused activities across 19 KISNA exclusive brand outlets in the region.
The co-ordinated drive included blood donation camps, tree plantation activities and food distribution programmes conducted across several cities including Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru, Madurai and Vijayawada. The initiatives saw participation from employees, franchise partners, local volunteers and community representatives.
The programme was attended by several company representatives and local leaders. Among those present were Santosh Sharma, Business Head – South, Priyesh Gamot, National Head CSR, franchise partners Sai Varun and Sai Krishna, and Santhosh Deconda Arra, Manager, along with community leaders, social representatives and NCC cadets who participated in the activities across different locations.
Through the initiative, KISNA aimed to engage directly with local communities while supporting social causes related to healthcare, environmental awareness and welfare support. Blood donation camps formed a key part of the drive, encouraging voluntary participation from residents and store teams. Tree plantation activities were organized in select locations to promote environmental responsibility, while food distribution programmes were conducted to support underserved communities.
The coordinated execution across 19 outlets enabled the brand to carry out these activities simultaneously in multiple cities, strengthening participation and expanding the reach of the initiatives.
Ghanshyam Dholakia, Founder & Managing Director, Hari Krishna Group, told the Deccan Chronicle, “Giving back to society has always been integral to KISNA’s philosophy. With our vision of ‘Har Ghar KISNA’, we are committed not only to expanding our reach but also to creating positive social impact. This Mega CSR Drive reflects our continued efforts towards healthcare, environmental sustainability and community wellbeing.”
The leadership team noted that such programmes form an important part of the brand’s broader efforts to remain connected with the communities in which it operates.
Parag Shah, CEO, KISNA Diamond & Gold Jewellery, added, “At KISNA, we believe true growth lies in creating meaningful impact within the communities we serve. Through this Mega CSR Drive, we aim to contribute towards health, environmental sustainability and social wellbeing. Franchise partners who participated in the initiative also highlighted the importance of engaging with communities beyond retail activity. Sai Varun Gaurishetty and Sai Krishna Narla, franchise partners, said, “It is truly inspiring to be part of a brand that prioritizes community impact alongside business success. The mega CSR drive provided us with an opportunity to connect closely with our local communities and contribute meaningfully beyond retail, reinforcing KISNA’s commitment towards social responsibility.”
With participation from multiple outlets and local stakeholders, the initiative reflects KISNA’s continued efforts to integrate community engagement with its expanding retail network.
