IBJA leads India’s global bullion vision at India International Bullion Summit 2026

The two-day summit discussed key issues, including progressive gold policies, Gold 2.0 and its global relevance, bullion innovation and digital gold regulations

Mumbai: The 11th India International Bullion Summit (IIBS) 2026 was held on February 27-28, 2026 in Mumbai, bringing together renowned industry voices and policy-makers, including ex-banker, singer and social worker Amruta Fadnavis and Chief Guest Shashi Tharoor, MP from Thiruvananthapuram, along with global bullion leaders, refiners, traders, jewellers, financial institutions and market experts to discuss the future of bullion markets in India and across the world.

Aksha Kamboj, Vice President, India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA) and Executive Chairperson, Aspect Global Ventures, marked her presence at the summit, underlining her continued focus on strengthening India’s position in the global precious metals landscape.

Over the course of two days, the summit featured engaging panel discussions addressing critical themes, including the need for a progressive gold policy framework, ‘Gold 2.0’ and its role in shaping the global future, innovation within the bullion ecosystem, and the regulatory landscape surrounding digital gold.

The World Gold Council, Multi Commodity Exchange of India Ltd and National Stock Exchange of India Ltd were among the partners of the event, along with several other industry bodies and institutions.

Talking about the summit, Kamboj said, “India’s bullion industry stands at a transformative crossroads where innovation, transparency and global integration will define its next decade of growth. IIBS has evolved into a premier international platform that fosters dialogue, collaboration, and forward-looking strategies. As we position India as a stronger voice in the global bullion ecosystem, such forums are instrumental in driving policy alignment, technological adoption and responsible growth across the sector.”
