The 7,500-square-foot showroom, originally opened in 2021, has been redesigned to improve customer engagement and offer a broader product mix
Bengaluru: Abaran Timeless Jewellery marked the grand opening of its re-imagined flagship showroom in J.P. Nagar, Bengaluru, on the auspicious occasion of Dhanteras. The relaunch celebrated the brand’s growing presence in the city and introduced an enhanced retail experience designed to serve the evolving needs of customers in South Bengaluru.
The 7,500-square-foot showroom, originally opened in 2021, has been redesigned to improve customer engagement and offer a broader product mix. Actor and playback singer Puneeth Rajkumar inaugurated the new showroom and the inaugural event was attended by several dignitaries and patrons of the brand.
As part of the reopening, Abaran launched the Sanya Fine Jewellery collection curated by Sanyukta Kamath, representing the brand’s growing focus on contemporary, everyday wear for Gen Z consumers. The store also introduced a new bridal lounge with a fully equipped studio including a change room and consultation space offering brides a personalized jewellery selection experience.
Commenting on the revamp, Pratap Madhukar Kamath, Director, Abaran Timeless Jewellery, said, “We wanted to create a space that enhances customer experience while aligning with the new retail landscape. The revamped showroom combines tradition with functionality, ensuring every visitor feels comfortable exploring our diverse jewellery offerings.”

The reopening also paid tribute to Abaran’s 90-year legacy that began in Udupi in 1935. Traditional coastal Karnataka cuisine, Yakshagana performances, and the folk Tiger Dance were part of the celebration, connecting the brand’s heritage with its modern retail journey.
Speaking about the brand’s vision, Kamath added, “Price can be matched by anyone, but experience and trust define long-term relationships. The new showroom reflects our commitment to providing that elevated retail experience. With three flagship stores in Bengaluru and plans to return to our roots with a new showroom in Udupi, we’re focused on deepening our customer relationships across generations.”
The event concluded with exclusive inaugural offers and strong footfalls from loyal customers and new visitors, signalling a promising start to Abaran’s next growth phase.
At present, Abaran operates three flagship showrooms and two boutiques in Bengaluru. While its core base remains in the city, the brand is focused on strengthening its regional reach without losing connection to its legacy.
