Bengaluru: Varniya, a digital-native diamond jewellery brand from the Vummidi family, has opened its first physical boutique and solitaire studio in partnership with GoNative at HSR Layout, Bengaluru. The launch marks a significant step for Varniya, which until now operated exclusively online, as it expands into offline retail to engage more directly with customers.
The new studio showcases a curated selection of engagement rings, hundreds of solitaire designs, certified lab-grown diamond jewellery and a limited vermeil collection designed for everyday wear. Located in HSR Layout, known as Bengaluru’s startup hub, the store positions Varniya close to a young, aspirational customer base that values convenience, design and conscious choices.
Varun Vummidi, Founder of Varniya, said the collaboration with GoNative represents both continuity and change: “Varniya carries forward the Vummidi family’s 125-year heritage in jewellery, but reimagined for today’s customer through lab-grown diamonds. Launching our first store with GoNative allows us to combine tradition with new consumer behaviour.”
He added that the physical studio provides a trusted environment for customers to explore solitaires, design engagement rings and experience exclusive collections such as the vermeil line. “As a brand that began online, this offline presence strengthens our ability to build trust and connect with customers more closely,” he explained.
Following this launch, Varniya plans to scale its boutique model within community-driven lifestyle spaces across India. The brand is seeking state-wise partnerships to bring the Solitaire Studio format to other markets, combining local expertise with its established design and craftsmanship standards.
