The brand’s Danapur branch hosted the camp with huge public participation and digital traction, reinforcing the jeweller’s aim to serve a genuine need in the community while also strengthening the human connect around the brand. A strong publicity campaign ensured reach beyond Ratnalaya’s core customer base
Patna: Ratnalaya Jewellers recently conducted a blood donation camp at its Danapur branch in Patna. The event, held in partnership with a government-recognised blood donation centre, was organized by the brand’s internal team, with logistical and volunteer support from staff across multiple branches. It was part of the brand’s ongoing community outreach efforts.
The camp saw active participation from employees, walk-in customers, and local residents. According to the company, the initiative was designed not just as a standalone CSR activity but as part of a broader strategy to maintain strong local engagement.
“We have always believed that our responsibility doesn’t end with doing business,” said Saket Keshri, Director, Ratnalaya Jewellers. “This initiative was meant to serve a genuine need in the community while also strengthening the human connect around the brand.”
The initiative was promoted through in-store communication, WhatsApp outreach, and a short digital video. The video received over one million views within 24 hours, helping the campaign reach audiences beyond Ratnalaya’s core customer base.
While the company does not measure CSR success in terms of direct business outcomes, Keshri acknowledged that such initiatives reinforce long-term brand value. “CSR is something we do out of emotion, conviction, and our brand’s core values — not for commercial gain,” he said. “That said, when customers see us doing meaningful work, it strengthens their association with the brand.”
This is not Ratnalaya Jewellers’ first foray into social initiatives. The company has undertaken various community-focused efforts over the years and intends to continue doing so in a structured way. “With careful planning and commitment, we continue to integrate such initiatives into our calendar while staying fully focused on our core retail goals,” added Keshri.
The event aligns with a growing trend among regional jewellers who are incorporating localized CSR activities to build trust and maintain visibility within their communities. For Ratnalaya, the success of the Danapur blood donation camp signals that such engagement strategies are both impactful and sustainable.
Ratnalaya Jewellers currently operates three stores in Bihar, with two retail stores in Patna and its recently launched outlet in Danapur.
