London: Ace designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee is all set to debut an exclusive collection of his high jewellery at British luxury store Harrods’ private Knightsbridge Penthouse Suite from July 21 to 27, 2025 in London.
Harrods will host Sabyasachi High Jewellery for the very first time, marking a landmark partnership with the Indian design house. Sabyasachi has crafted a high jewellery collection solely for this occasion. The Sabyasachi Jewellery X Harrods Collection features two signature lines: Bengal Royale and Bengal Byzantine Broadway, merging Eastern craftsmanship with Western grandeur.
“I am honoured to present Sabyasachi High Jewellery at Harrods in London, the epicentre of taste and sophistication which showcases the pinnacle of the world’s finery. This residency will bring the best of Indian craftmanship and design to the unparalleled, global clients of Harrods. Together we will delight the senses of the world’s most discerning and uncompromising customers,” Sabyasachi said in an Instagram post.
Bengal Royale steps back into the 1920s, an era ignited by passion and conflict, and shaped by freedom fighters, royals, writers, artists, and thinkers. It merges Indian jewellery-making, Mughal opulence and European techniques with Bengali filigree artistry.
Bengal Byzantine Broadway fuses Bengal’s masterful craftsmanship with the grandeur of Byzantium, blending art deco geometry, tropical whimsy and the fine gold-smithing of the Babus of Bengal. This collection seamlessly interweaves East and West.
The fashion designer’s eponymous label has a total of six stores – one each in New Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai, two stores in Hyderabad and one outlet in New York.
