Partnership with the event, which sought to break the silence around menopause, served as a strategic move to reinforce brand recall among 170 participants present there, while fostering a sense of trust and deep connection with the brand’s customers
Chennai: Chennai-based retailer NAC Jewellers recently associated with an event named MenoParty 2025, which sought to break the silence around menopause. Led by a team of well-known doctors and sexual health experts, the event provided insights and fostered open discussions on a subject often regarded as taboo, and the association became a strategic move for the brand to forge a deep connection with female customers. Speaking about NAC Jewellers’ association with MenoParty 2025, Nathella Anandha Ramanujam, Executive Director of NAC Jewellers, said, “We believe this kind of engagement builds a deeper connection between the brand and our consumers. By associating with a taboo subject like menopause and adding value to the discussion, we created a lasting impact.”
NAC Jewellers could reinforce brand recall among 170 participants across different age groups and professions present at the event while fostering a sense of trust and bonding with its customers. The event had invite-only attendees personally selected by the participating doctors, ensuring the right audience.
NAC Jewellers displayed a selection of its jewellery pieces at the event, with the top speakers wearing them throughout the day-long programme, and also participating in a ramp walk.
Commenting on the significance of luxury brands engaging in wellness discussions, Ramanujam said, “Our target audience consists of individuals who make key decisions regarding high-end jewellery purchases. By supporting a conversation as sensitive as menopause, NAC Jewellers aimed to reinforce its presence in the minds of its consumers while associating itself with an initiative that resonated with its clientele.”
Looking ahead, the brand is aiming to participate in more such initiatives that cater to consumer needs, particularly those that address emotional and value-driven aspects. “We will continue to explore opportunities to be part of meaningful events that align with our mission. Engaging in discussions that resonate with our target audience helps strengthen our brand’s connection with them,” Ramanujam noted. “This is just the beginning. We plan to take this forward and support more initiatives to ensure wider awareness of such important topics.”
The brand actively engages in a wide range of women-focused sponsorships and marketing initiatives. Recently, it collaborated with JITO Chennai and JLW Chennai for the National Women’s Conclave in the city, leveraging the platform to enhance brand visibility and connect with business leaders, entrepreneurs and influential women. That partnership also provided NAC Jewellers valuable exposure through strategic branding and specially curated jewellery displays.
NAC Jewellers was founded by Nathella Narayana Chetty in 1917. The business expanded under his son, Nathella Anantham Chetty, who opened a store in Parry’s Corner, Chennai in 1973. Today, NAC Jewellers has 11 stores in Chennai and an exclusive showroom in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh.
