Chennai: Chess icon Padma Shri Koneru Humpy recently launched ‘ Lustre & Legacy by Kirtilals’, a line showcasing six distinct collections of natural diamond jewellery by leading retailer Kirtilals, at an event in Chennai. The jeweller honoured Humpy for her exceptional achievements in chess at the event, by crafting and presenting her an exclusive necklace inspired by the game of chess. The necklace features miniature diamond chess coins on either side, with the ‘queen’ symbolizing Humpy’s status as the queen of chess, marking her legacy in the world of the sport.
