Featuring over 80 designs inspired by the themes of Phoolchadar and Drape Story, the collection blends traditional craftsmanship with contemporary style, inspired by themes of beauty, prosperity, and femininity
Mumbai: Tanishq has launched the second edition of its Rivaah collection in collaboration with designer Tarun Tahiliani. Following the success of their first collection, the new line caters to the modern Indian bride who combines traditional values with contemporary style. The collection blends India’s rich heritage with modern sophistication, reflecting evolving bridal preferences while celebrating timeless beauty.
The designs feature two key themes: Phoolchadar, which symbolizes beauty, prosperity, and new beginnings, and Drape Story, inspired by femininity and cultural richness. The Phoolchadar theme uses intricate floral motifs transitioning from buds to full blooms, while Drape Story draws inspiration from the draped patterns in Tarun Tahiliani’s fashion collections. These motifs are reimagined in fluid, scalloped patterns, bringing a modern twist to traditional artistry.
Crafted in gold and glass kundan, the jewellery is designed to reflect the unique individuality of the modern bride. It is intended to enhance every wedding occasion, from the grand celebrations to more intimate functions like haldi, mehndi, sangeet, and cocktail parties. With over 80 designs, including chokers, gulubands, harams, pendants, rings, maang tikkas, and haathphools, the collection offers a wide variety for brides to choose from.
The pieces in this collection aim to appeal to brides who seek exclusivity and cultural depth. The jewellery is not only intended to complement wedding attire but also to celebrate the bride’s personal journey, offering pieces that feel both timeless and fresh.
Revathi Kant, Chief Design Officer at Titan Company, spoke about the collection’s focus on creating designs that speak to a modern, rooted bride. “This collection takes inspiration from Tarun’s signature embroideries and combines them with our craftsmanship to offer a unique blend of traditional and modern jewellery,” she said. Tarun Tahiliani added that the collection draws from his archives, translating his fabric designs into gold jewellery.
