Los Angeles: Fashion designer Sabyasachi continues to make waves in Hollywood, with A-list celebrities embracing his exquisite jewellery collections. The latest star to showcase his creations is none other than American actor and singer Jennifer Lopez, who dazzled in Sabyasachi high jewellery at the premiere of the film Wicked in Los Angeles recently.

To complement her ensemble, Lopez wore shimmering earth-toned accessories, including chunky beaded bracelets from Sabyasachi’s high jewellery collection. This marks the second time in recent months that Lopez has chosen Sabyasachi to elevate her red-carpet look. Earlier this year, at the 2024 Golden Globes party during the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), Lopez wore earrings, a cuff and a ring from the designer’s luxury line.

Lopez is not alone in her admiration for Sabyasachi’s creations. Hollywood stars have increasingly turned to the designer for show-stopping jewellery pieces. In October, How to Get Away with Murder star Viola Davis arrived at the 2024 LACMA Art + Film Gala, wearing an opulent Sabyasachi necklace and earrings. Colombian actress Sofia Vergara also made a statement in a bold Sabyasachi necklace and earrings during the America’s Got Talent finale.

As Sabyasachi continues to gain popularity in Hollywood, it’s clear that his intricate, culturally inspired jewellery is becoming a go-to choice for stars looking to make a statement both on and off the red carpet.

Sabyasachi began his jewellery venture in 1999, a few years after founding his fashion label in Kolkata. His jewellery reflects India’s rich craftsmanship and tradition, combining antique and modern styles with a refined, understated sensibility. His pieces often incorporate intricate beadwork, enamel, polki diamonds, precious stones, and high-quality metals.

The ace designer now operates five stores in India and an opulent boutique in New York.
