Batukbhai Jewellers launches flagship bridal jewellery showroom in Nagpur, formally introduces apparel label ‘Eclat’

Eclat, a multi-designer clothing brand, had seen a soft launch earlier, and is part of the brand’s endeavour to provide customers designer clothes and designer jewellery under one roof 

Nagpur: On Gudi Padwa day, Batukbhai Jewellers inaugurated its flagship bridal jewellery showroom in the vibrant locale of Shankar Nagar in Nagpur. It marked a significant milestone for the brand, which aims to redefine the entire bridal shopping experience. The inauguration ceremony saw the presence of luminaries from the jewellery industry, local dignitaries and loyal patrons of Batukbhai Jewellers. 

The brand made a strategic foray into cross-retailing, with the launch of Eclat, a multi-designer clothing brand, at the new showroom. Eclat had been soft launched by Batukbhai Jewellers at its store earlier, and aims to provide an integrated shopping experience for clients. With an impressive roster of more than 40 designers, including Amit Agarwal, Mrinalini Rao, Paras Modi, Namrata Joshipura, Megha Bansal and Sheetal Batra hosted by Eclat, the label will give the jewellery brand’s customers in Nagpur a wide range of designer clothing options – casual, ethnic and bridal – creating a synergy between fashion and jewellery. Naina Sheth, Partner, Batukbhai Jewellers and founder of Eclat, said that every outfit is hand-picked to create a unique and elegant wardrobe for each client, and the aim is to meet their fashion needs under one roof, styled with exclusive jewellery. The brand’s venture into cross-retailing will enable customers to envision their final look for an occasion, she added, saying that people of Nagpur will no longer need to go to metros to get the finest clothes and jewellery. She expressed confidence that the new concept would get an overwhelming response from the people of Nagpur.  

The multi-storey showroom is designed to offer customers a comfortable and luxurious shopping experience, and also hosts a couture lounge, named ‘Select by Batukbhai,’ exhibiting couture jewellery pieces including an array of pearls, gemstones and authentic jewellery sourced from global destinations. 

Reflecting on the occasion, Viraj Sheth, Partner, Batukbhai Jewellers, remarked that Batukbhai Jewellers has consistently demonstrated a penchant for innovation, setting new benchmarks within the community in Nagpur, while Mohit Sheth, Partner, Batukbhai Jewellers, said the new store is geared towards meeting the needs of Nagpur’s clientele, ensuring they no longer need to go out of the city to find their “perfect jewellery pieces”. 

The brand commenced its journey in 1968 and is spearheaded by the new generation of the family comprising Mohit Sheth, Viraj Sheth and Naina Sheth, under the guidance of the founders Rajendra Sheth, Kishore Sheth and Bharat Sheth. The new showroom is its third outlet in Nagpur.
