Aulerth and Ekaya Banaras partner to launch jewellery line inspired by motifs of the ocean
Featuring sparkling stones and turquoise-hued crystals that represent sea waves, the collection brings together both brands for the second time
Mumbai: Sustainable jewellery brand Aulerth has partnered with luxury clothing brand Ekaya Banaras to launch a conceptual jewellery collection titled ‘Odeta’. The product range is inspired by the ocean and launched on both brands’ e-commerce stores and in their respective boutiques on January 12.
The collection features bold, sculptural shapes and pearl details to bring to mind the fluidity of the ocean. Sparkling stones and turquoise-hued crystals add depth to pieces shaped like ocean waves and the line marks the second time the two brands have come together. The line is designed to show India’s craft heritage in a new light. The brands describe their designs as, “a movement towards mindful luxury”.
“Joining hands with Ekaya Banaras marks a significant moment for us at Aulerth,” said Vivek Ramabhadran, Founder and CEO, Aulerth. “Their esteemed legacy in craftsmanship and design complements our ethos of sustainable luxury. ‘Odeta’, our latest collaboration, is a celebration of tradition and modernity, mirroring the deep blues of the sea with its enchanting turquoise tones. This collection embodies our commitment to authenticity, sustainability, and the art of fine jewellery.”
“It was a thrill to see Aulerth’s impeccable designs taking on ornate silhouettes reminiscent of Ekaya’s couture lexicon,” said Palak Shah, Brand Head, Ekaya. “Each piece is a true collectible with unexpected details. The baroque-inspired rings are my personal favourites from the collection. Ekaya’s collections have always been about socio-cultural dialogues between the past and present, and the same sensibilities were translated to the jewellery pieces, too. I’m immensely excited about this collaboration and can’t wait to see how our audience wears these pieces in their own ways,” she added.
