The Durbar and the Mysore Kasu collections summarize the heritage of the Mysore palace and that of the Wodeyar dynasty

150 Year C. Krishniah Chetty Group Of Jewellers unveiled *The Durbar Assemblage* an exquisite collection of meticulously designed and handcrafted jewellery that pays a tribute to the resplendent royal legacy and opulent heritage of Mysore Palace.

Princess Darshika Kumari and Princess Kamakshi Devi Wadiyar launched The Durbar Collection at the Crystal Museum Salon, C. Krishniah Chetty Group Of Jewellers , The Touchstone, Main Guard Cross Road.

Meticulously designed with intricate details, the collection draws inspiration from the majestic architecture of Mysore’s palaces, facades, durbar halls, arches, and other architectural marvels. Every piece proudly showcases the symbolic Ghandaberunda motif, representing the significance of the Mysore state emblem.

Complementing “The Durbar Collection” is the “Mysore Kasu Collection,” inspired by the coins minted during the Wodeyar dynasty’s reign. These traditional Kasu pieces seamlessly blend the traditional and the contemporary, catering to diverse wearers with discerning tastes.

Each Kasu piece is a testament to the grandeur of Mysore’s rich history, a celebration of its illustrious Maharaja Krishna Raja Wodeyar IV, the majestic Ghandaberunda motifs, and the awe-inspiring Mysore temple door. To enhance the allure of these pieces, fine rubies and emeralds are set in the traditional Kundalavelai setting. C. Krishniah Chetty craftsmen have meticulously crafted each piece, incorporating the regal essence of Mysore’s heritage.
