Leading jewellery retailer Malabar Gold & Diamonds is the title sponsor for Mazhavil Manorama’s Mazhavil Entertainment Awards, billed as the ‘biggest celebration of Malayalam Cinema’.
The annual event, in partnership with the ‘Association of Malayalam Movie Artists’ (AMMA), will bring together more than 120 artistes this year, informed a channel statement. The awards will be aired on August 19 and 20, and the channel claims a television viewership of over 1 crore.
The event’s promotional video features veteran director Fazil alongside actors Mohanlal and Mammootty.
Besides honouring outstanding performers from Malayalam cinema, the event will feature entertainment acts like dance and comedy.
