SGCCI to host ‘Sparkle International Gems and Jewellery Exhibition 2023’ from August 25
The three-day jewellery show will highlight the beauty of Surat’s fine jewellery designs and creations
The Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI) is set to host the highly anticipated ‘Sparkle International Gems and Jewellery Exhibition 2023’ at the prestigious Indoor Stadium in Athwalines, commencing from August 25. This three-day extravaganza promises to showcase the finest jewellery pieces from over 35 renowned brands, drawing visitors from all corners of the globe.
The exhibition will serve as a perfect platform for prominent jewellery brands from Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Jaipur, and Bikaner to exhibit their innovative and decorative designer jewellery. Attendees will witness an impressive display of stunning craftsmanship and unique designs, reflecting the rich and diverse heritage of Indian jewellery.
What sets this year’s event apart is the spotlight on Surat’s jewellery specialty, coinciding with the upcoming grand opening of the Surat Diamond Bourse (SDB) in November. As the world eagerly awaits the inauguration of the diamond bourse, the Sparkle International Gems and Jewellery Exhibition will allow visitors to experience the brilliance of Surat’s finest jewellery creations.
Apart from traditional wedding jewellery, the exhibition will also feature exclusive categories of modern decorative designer jewellery, catering to the evolving tastes of contemporary consumers. By providing a diverse range of choices, the Chamber of Commerce aims to establish a one-stop destination for both non-resident Gujaratis and non-resident Indians to shop for exquisite jewellery.
Ramesh Vaghasia, President of SGCCI, expressed his enthusiasm for the event, stating that the Sparkle Exhibition would be organized on a business-to-customer (B2C) basis, just like the previous year. The event will not only include local jewellers from Surat but also welcome participation from 30 to 35 jewellers from Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Jaipur, and Bikaner, ensuring a comprehensive and enriching experience for all attendees.
Highlighting the significance of the B2C approach, Vaghasia emphasized that it enables customers to witness the entire journey of a product, from creation to display. The Sparkle Exhibition serves as an inspiration for promoting and updating jewellery brands, propelling them to new heights of excellence. SGCCI’s vision is to elevate the jewellery industry to new dimensions through this sparkling platform, while also meeting the surge in demand expected during the upcoming wedding season, which typically commences after August.
Visitors can expect to be dazzled by an array of breathtaking jewellery pieces, from traditional and cultural designs to contemporary and modern aesthetics. This exhibition promises to be a feast for the eyes, as well as a unique opportunity for jewellery enthusiasts and prospective buyers to explore and acquire exquisite pieces from various regions of India.
