Kirtilals spreads Covid awareness, donates oxygen concentrators to corporation, healthcare centers
Kirtilals donated 3000+ packets of healthy millet foods at different locations and participated in creating speciality wards in hospitals.
Coimbatore: Doing their bit to help people fight Covid-19, Kirtilals have recently sponsored 20 oxygen concentrators and various healthcare kits to the Coimbatore Corporation. The jeweller had also distributed immunity-boosting kits along with preventive medicines to more than 10,000 families in different nearby villages.
The above-mentioned initiatives form just a part of Kirtilal’s other contributions to society. The company has contributed medical requirements to primary healthcare centres across South India, donated 3000+ packets of healthy millet foods at different locations and participated in creating speciality wards in hospitals. Related to social welfare is another brilliant initiative by the brand in the education field, as it created a state-of-the-art 1,000-seater convention centre at Bharathiyar University.
Suraj Shantakumar, Director, Business Strategy, Kirtilals said, “Our primary objective was that whatever we are doing it should help people at the grassroots level. Apart from Coimbatore Corporation, we have distributed oxygen concentrators to primary healthcare centres in Coimbatore also.”In order to spread awareness, Kirtilals had hired 10 mobile vans distributing flyers carrying Covid safety instructions to the public around Coimbatore and nearby cities. The brand also prepared immunity-boosting kits, which contain various preventive medicines, and distributed it across villages.”
Kirtilals is also planning to do similar activities in other cities such as Vizag, Vijayawada, Hyderabad Madurai and Chennai as well. For proper distribution of immunity kits, Kirtilals have also tied up with several NGOs. The jeweller also worked on projects including women empowerment and joined hands with the government to serve the society during pandemic.
