Through organic content generated by customers, the brand created a unique in-store experience that went beyond jewellery purchase
Mumbai: MK Jewels recently launched the ‘MK Tribute Wall’ campaign, wherein it used organic content generated by customers to engage both existing clients and potential new ones. The campaign began on March 4 and ran until March 8, at all the brand’s stores in Mumbai and Ahmedabad, except the Zaveri Bazaar outlet. Through social media, the brand invited people to visit its stores, write a short message for the women who uplifted them, and pin it on the MK Tribute Wall, which became a physical representation of shared emotions, a space that allowed customers to read heart-felt tributes paid by others to various women. The brand also encouraged people to send hand written gratitude messages via WhatsApp, and roped in walk-in clients at its stores for the campaign. In return, they were given pamper hampers containing wellness products to promote well-being and spread positivity.
The brand’s aim was to enhance customer engagement and brand recall and create meaningful connections. Through the campaign, the brandnot only acknowledged the emotional support women provide in daily life, but created an experience that went beyond jewellery purchase.
Ram Raimalani, Founder and Creative Director of MK Jewels, explained, “The campaign aimed to strengthen our connection with both our existing clients and new customers. We wanted to create a space of appreciation that would foster deeper emotional bonds while also driving engagement.”
“The response to the MK Tribute Wall campaign has been overwhelming. Customers have not only engaged with us digitally but also returned to our stores to read the messages, creating an emotional connection that goes beyond the jewellery we sell,” Raimalani added.
The campaign proved to be more than just a marketing effort, with the MK Tribute Wall creating a sense of belonging among customers. The campaign’s success was measured not only in social media engagement but also in the lasting impact it had on the in-store experience, turning each store into a place where customers felt connected through love and gratitude.
MK Jewels, founded in 1999, has established itself as a leading manufacturer and retailer of natural diamond, gold and CZ jewellery in India. MK Jewels currently has five stores, three in Mumbai (Bandra, Andheri and Zaveri Bazaar) and two in Ahmedabad.
