The brand has also introduced festive schemes and initiatives that are expected to draw customer participation and add momentum in the competitive festive quarter
Mumbai: Waman Hari Pethe (WHP) Jewellers recently reopened its flagship showroom on Ranade Road, Dadar, after a complete renovation, marking an important step in the brand’s retail journey. Established in 1909, WHP has been closely linked to Maharashtra’s jewellery trade for over a century, with the Dadar store serving as one of its most prominent touchpoints for more than 70 years.
The upgraded showroom was inaugurated on September 22, 2025, by WHP’s brand ambassador, actor Sharvari Wagh. Her association reflects the jeweller’s move to connect with a younger base of customers while continuing to cater to long-standing families that have trusted the brand for generations. To coincide with the reopening, WHP launched the Navinya Navratna Collection for the festive season, along with two new lines and its wedding jewellery range. These launches underline the retailer’s focus on keeping design innovation at the centre of its festive and bridal positioning.
Commenting on the occasion, Ashish Pethe, Partner, WHP Jewellers said, “Our Ranade Road showroom has been an integral part of the brand’s journey for over 75 years. The renovation reflects our focus on delivering a richer, more contemporary customer experience, without losing sight of the legacy and trust we have built over generations. With this relaunch, we aim to reinforce our leadership in the festive and bridal jewellery segments.”
The brand has also introduced festive schemes such as the Suvarna Suraksha Yojana and a complimentary gold coin offer. Both initiatives are expected to draw customer participation and add momentum in Mumbai’s competitive festive quarter.
The reopening saw strong turnout from customers and stakeholders, reaffirming WHP’s brand equity in one of India’s busiest jewellery markets. By blending its heritage with new collections and consumer-focused schemes, WHP Jewellers is setting the tone for its next phase of growth in organized retail.
