Here’s what members of the Ambani family and pop singer Rihanna wore, capturing everyone’s attention
The pre-wedding celebrations of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant was an extravaganza like no other, with a dazzling display of jewels by all attendees, most prominently the Ambani family. Exquisite jewels worn by the Ambanis captured everyone’s attention – from bespoke creations to heirloom pieces, each jewel representing luxury, glamour and sophistication.
RADHIKA MERCHANT
Radhika Merchant radiated glamour in a statement necklace featuring a line of yellow and white heart-shaped solitaires, with five radiant hearts suspended at the centre. A bracelet of heart-shaped diamonds encircled her wrist, and a pair of solitaire heart-drop earrings completed the look, all part of a bespoke jewellery set by Parthiv Mehta of Kantilal Chhotalal.
ANANT AMBANI
Anant Ambani’s custom-made Lorraine Schwartz brooch, which was 3X the size of any brooch anyone else wore, stole the show. Covered with natural diamonds, the brooch turned all heads in the room as it had a Ganpati motif, making it particularly special, given its religious significance.
NITA AMBANI
Nita Ambani caught everyone’s attention by wearing a classy emerald-studded diamond necklace by Reliance’s luxury retail brand, Swadesh. The necklace featured intricate minute emeralds connected to two sizeable pendants, complemented by matching stud earrings, bangles and a statement ring.
ISHA PIRAMAL AMBANI
Isha Piramal Ambani wore a blouse handcrafted with real Jadau jewellery, specially made for her by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. Some of her own precious ornaments were dismantled and reinvented into couture, while some new jewellery was also sourced for the piece. Different stitches of gold and silver Zardozi work were infused with the jewellery pieces to create the blouse.
RIHANNA
Rihanna performed at the Ambani family pre-wedding festivities wearing diamond and ruby earrings from Birdhichand Ghanshyamdas, Delhi and a classic polki necklace from Swadesh Online, Hyderabad. Her necklace was embellished with diamonds, emeralds and rubies and was designed to symbolize the eventful journey of Jamnagar, according to the jeweller.
