The alliance is expected to accelerate the availability of lab-grown diamond jewellery through physical retail in both existing and emerging markets, as Arihant Group prepares to launch 10 Solitario outlets across key metropolitan and Tier I cities
New Delhi: Solitario Diamonds has announced a strategic partnership with the Arihant Group, a leading retail conglomerate known for its strong multi-brand franchise portfolio. The move positions Arihant as Solitario’s largest franchise partner and strengthens the brand’s pan-India retail strategy.
As part of the agreement, Arihant Group will launch 10 Solitario outlets across key metropolitan and Tier I cities, including Pune, Mumbai, New Delhi, Indore, Kanpur, Kolkata and Ghaziabad. The plan also includes a dedicated shop-in-shop format at Broadway, Delhi, aimed at increasing the brand’s accessibility in a high-footfall retail zone.
The collaboration is rooted in mutual goals. Solitario seeks to scale its lab-grown diamond offering to a wider audience, while Arihant Group expands its retail footprint in a segment that is seeing increased consumer interest.
“Arihant Group’s stronghold in retail and operational depth makes them a natural fit as our largest franchise partner. This collaboration enables us to fast-track our retail presence across key Indian cities while staying true to our core, i.e., delivering exceptional quality, transparency, and ethical luxury. We’re building a future where lab-grown diamonds lead the conversation in fine jewellery, and this partnership takes us several steps closer to that vision,” said Ricky Vasandani, CEO & Co-Founder, Solitario.
For Arihant, the partnership is part of its broader strategy to align with consumer preferences that are shifting towards more conscious purchase decisions.
“Solitario brings clarity, credibility, and a distinct positioning to the lab-grown diamond category. Their focus on quality and customer trust aligns well with our retail philosophy. As consumer demand shifts toward conscious choices, we see strong potential in bringing Solitario’s offerings to newer markets and elevating the jewellery retail experience with our pan-India network,” said Vipul Bafna, Managing Director, Arihant Group.
The alliance is expected to accelerate the availability of lab-grown diamond jewellery through physical retail in both existing and emerging markets, forming perhaps one of the widest organized networks for the category in India.
Founded in 2022 by Ricky Vasandani and actor-entrepreneur Vivek Oberoi, Solitario has grown from its first store in Pune to over 10 flagship stores in India and abroad, including Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Lucknow and Dubai. The brand is present in six global markets, including Dubai, Malaysia and Spain.
