Pune: P. N. Gadgil & Sons (PNGS), one of the region’s leading jewellery brands, has returned to its heritage roots with the launch of a grand new showroom on Laxmi Road, Pune – the brand’s original location, deeply tied to its 193-year-old legacy. Located at Saraswati Sadan, Kunte Chowk on Laxmi Road, this showroom marks an emotional home-coming. It not only celebrates PNGS’s rich history in Pune, but also fulfils a long-standing demand from loyal customers.
The inauguration took place on Sunday, March 30, 2025, and was attended by Ravindra Vanjarwadkar, Pune Mahanagar Sanghchalak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. Also present were Shrikrishna Chitale and his wife, partners at Chitale Bandhu Mithaiwale, along with customers, patrons and well-wishers of PNGS.
The new showroom had been requested by residents of Pune, who were waiting for PNGS to return to Laxmi Road. With its origins in Pune, this move confirms the brand’s continued focus on its roots while offering updated jewellery collections and customer experience.
Commenting on the new showroom, Aditya Modak, CFO and COO of P. N. Gadgil & Sons, said, “Our return to Laxmi Road is not just a business decision; it is an emotional one. The jewellery brand now has a strong presence in Maharashtra with 32 stores, along with one store each in Vadodara, Gujarat, and Kalaburgi, Karnataka.
