Mumbai: Neha Lulla Jewellery has announced the ‘Young Diamantaire’ programme, a hands-on educational workshop for teenagers aged 14 to 18, giving them an introduction to diamonds and the fine jewellery industry. This builds on the success of the brand’s inaugural ‘Young Gemmologists’ workshop. Scheduled for July 18, 2026, the initiative continues the brand’s effort to introduce children and young adults to the world of diamonds and gemstones through interactive learning, aiming to spark future interest in the industry.

The concept stems from founder Neha Lulla Kriplani’s reflection on how children’s relationship with jewellery has evolved over generations. Remembering her own fascination with her mother’s jewellery box and the endless questions it inspired about gemstones, diamonds and craftsmanship, Kriplani observes that today’s children are surrounded by a far wider range of interests and distractions. Rather than waiting for that curiosity to develop naturally, she envisioned creating experiences that would bring the magic of jewellery directly to young learners.

This idea led to the creation of ‘Young Gemmologists’ and ‘Young Diamantaire’, designed to introduce children and teenagers to the fascinating world of fine jewellery through touch, discovery and story-telling.

Designed as an immersive educational experience, the workshop allows participants to explore the origins of diamonds and gemstones, understand their unique characteristics, and gain insights into jewellery craftsmanship through hands-on activities. By encouraging youngsters to actually experience the jewellery, the workshop seeks to make it more accessible and engaging for them

By combining education with interactive experiences, the initiative reflects a growing trend among jewellery brands to build meaningful engagement beyond traditional retail. Through these workshops, Neha Lulla Jewellery aims to foster an early appreciation for the science, artistry and heritage of fine jewellery while encouraging the next generation to explore the industry through curiosity and discovery.

Founded in 2009, Neha Lulla Jewellery operates as a fine jewellery studio specialising in personalised design and craftsmanship. The brand primarily works with diamonds, creating bespoke pieces through a design process tailored to each client’s individual preferences and requirements.
