Kevabox opens new store at Forum Mall in Kochi, its 5th retail outlet in South India

The store aims to cater to the growing demand for quality yet affordable lightweight jewellery in the region

Kochi: Jewellery retailer Kevabox, specializing in lightweight jewellery, recently opened a new store at Forum Mall in Kochi. The store is the latest addition to the brand’s retail footprint of four earlier stores located at Nexus Shantiniketan Mall in Whitefield, Bengaluru, Fiza by Nexus Mall in Mangaluru, MG Road in Kasaragod and Hilite Mall in Kozhikode. The brand is looking to increase its visibility in both high street and mall-based locations.

Mohammed Dilshad, the CEO and Founder of Kevabox, shared that the brand has already made its mark in key locations where it is present, such as Mangaluru, Bengaluru and Kozhikode. “We saw a great response from customers in Kochi, with the first sale happening within minutes of opening the store, even before we had officially launched,” Dilshad remarked, highlighting the enthusiasm surrounding the brand’s entry into Kochi.

Kevabox is a 500 sqft store which offers a varied selection of jewellery, including Italian and Turkish designs, all within an accessible price range. “The products we offer are both elegant and affordable, starting from as low as Rs 4,000 for necklaces,” Dilshad explained. The store in Kochi features a curated mix of lightweight jewellery, including natural diamond products, 18-carat ornaments and lapel pins. It aims to cater to the growing demand for quality yet affordable lightweight jewellery in the region.

As part of a broader strategy for expansion in Kerala and beyond in the southern region, the brand has several store locations lined up in cities like Trivandrum, Kottayam and Kannur. Beyond that, Kevabox is also exploring opportunities in the northern and central regions of India, with franchisee enquiries coming in from places such as New Delhi and Lucknow, said Dilshad.

Kevabox is also in the process of enhancing its online presence. With the e-commerce platform already live, the brand aims to offer a seamless shopping experience to customers who prefer shopping from the comfort of their homes.

Kevabox is a modernistic initiative by City Gold and Diamonds, with a legacy spanning over 25 years across multiple store locations in Kerala and Karnataka.
