Jewelex and Ultrahuman launch Rare, the first-ever luxury smart ring
Infusing technology to map heart rates, sleep and stress rhythms of the wearer, the Rare rings have been shipped to 116 countries within just a couple of days of its entry in the market
MUMBAI: Jewelex and Ultrahuman embarked onto a new era of jewellery with a fantabulous addition of technology with their latest Ultrahuman range. Launched at Nesco with actor-entrepreneur Shilpa Shetty as chief guest, the new assortment of luxurious rings ensured that the wearer stays fit and upgrades their smart device assortment from watches to rings.
Bobby Kothari, CEO of Jewelex, kickstarted the hype around the product with an elaborate presentation detailing the journey of Jewelex over the years and its steadfast adherence to technology to beautify luxury more efficiently. “I am very happy to announce the launch of Rare, the world’s first luxury smart ring, the fruits of a grand collaboration between Ultrahuman and Jewelex. The ring, as you would experience it first-hand, has crossed several barriers of technological development to map the various health-related factors of the wearer, thus combining fashion and convenience as a pioneering project,” Kothari maintained.
Taking the stage to demonstrate the products in greater detail was Mohit Kumar, CEO of Ultrahuman, who walked the audience through the various designs of the ring such as Desert Rose and Desert Snow. “From sleep index, duration, restfulness, REM sleep, to stress cycles and an overview of our heart rates, this ring packs a punch besides being amazingly beautiful. Mapping data on your stress rhythms, the ring also alerts you on what kind of stress is good for your health,” he maintained.
“The app is gifted with guidance on useful breathworks and comprises meditation, anulom vilom, box breathworks, and a lot more,” said Shilpa Shetty, who coincidentally became one of the first customers of this ring and was invited thereafter to grace the occasion as a chief guest. “Health is the biggest wealth for us. Without being a slave to technology, I appreciate such marvellous innovations that allow us to sport jewellery in style and let it be of constant use to us, reminding us about the best healthy practices,” she maintained.
Launched in the market days before, Ultrahuman and Jewelex has shipped the product to over 116 countries at the time of publication of this news. The session culminated into a talk on health and awareness, led by Shetty, Kothari, and Kumar, each one of whom emphasised the importance of a healthy lifestyle.
