IGI School of Gemology conducts an extensive training program for Malabar Gold & Diamonds




The specially designed program emphasized on selling merchandise by making customers aware of their diamond jewelry.

December 3, 2018 (Mumbai, India): The IGI School of Gemology conducted a 5-day training session for the sales team of Malabar Gold & Diamonds in Mumbai. Pan India managers of the brand attended the session that gave them a thorough understanding of diamonds- their evolution, mining processes and the grading standards.

The polished diamond session that spanned over five days covered everything from the morphology of rough diamonds, the 4C’s – clarity, color, cut and carat weight as well as the science of identifying treatments, imitations and synthetic diamonds. The session helped the team understand the various aspects in diamonds and took them through the many processes that a diamond has to undergo in order to attain the regalia.

Team Malabar Gold & Diamonds was exceptionally happy with the training provided. The session has helped them view their merchandise with a fresher and focused perception. “We are extremely happy and satisfied with the sessions conducted by IGI for our team.  It has surely helped the team understand the nuances in the grading and certification processes.
