GJEPC unveils the third edition of International Gem & Jewellery Show in Jaipur, sees participation of buyers from 27 countries
Jaipur: GJEPC hosted the 3rd edition of the International Gem & Jewellery Show (IGJS) in Jaipur. The event is being held from April 12–14 at Novotel Jaipur Convention Centre, Jaipur.
A curated event showcasing the best of Indian craftsmanship, IGJS featured over 54 jewellery manufacturers and exporters presenting an array of diamonds, loose gemstones, gemstone & diamond studded jewellery, and silver jewellery. IGJS 2024 witnessed 250 international buyers from 27 countries, spanning Algeria, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Egypt, Greece, Iran, Italy, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Lebanon, Mexico, Russian Federation, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, UAE, Ukraine, United Kingdom, USA, and Uzbekistan.
Vipul Shah, chairman of GJEPC, said, “India’s gem and jewellery industry holds a prominent position as a global leader, with substantial contributions to the world market. Our annual exports amounting to USD 40 billion underscore our strength and expertise in this sector, supporting employment for over 5 million individuals.
