The brand says that the association has evolved over the past year from a marketing agreement to a representation of what many Indian women seek today in fashion-led jewellery
Pune: Gargi by P N Gadgil and Sons (PNGS) has confirmed that actor and influencer Mithila Palkar will continue as its brand ambassador in 2026. This marks the second consecutive year of the association, which the company says is built on shared values and consistent audience connection.
The decision to retain Palkar reflects the brand’s focus on long-term partnerships. Gargi states that the association has evolved over the past year from a marketing agreement to a representation of what many Indian women seek today in fashion-led jewellery.
According to the company, the partnership is based on aligned values and clear communication with customers across varied demographics. Palkar’s presence has also supported the brand’s visibility among younger buyers while maintaining relevance among traditional jewellery consumers.

Aditya Modak, Co-founder of Gargi by P N Gadgil and Sons, said, “It wasn’t just about keeping things the same when they brought Mithila back; it was also about belief. In the past year, we’ve seen how well she embodies the Gargi spirit. She doesn’t just wear our jewellery; she lives out the brand’s values of timeless style and easy elegance. Customers see themselves in Mithila’s campaigns: confident, rooted in their culture, and making modern choices. This partnership has gone beyond the usual brand-ambassador relationship. We are excited to strengthen this partnership in 2026 as we continue to reach new heights in the fashion jewellery market.”
Gargi is entering a phase of expansion with plans for more company-owned stores and wider shop-in-shop presence across India. The brand sees continuity in representation as essential during this phase. Palkar’s reach across audiences and her engagement on digital platforms support this direction.
Mithila Palkar said, “It’s rare to find a brand partnership that feels this natural and important. Gargi stands for everything I believe in: being yourself while staying true to your roots. I really liked being a part of the Gargi family for the past year, and I’m looking forward to continuing this journey. This isn’t just an endorsement for me; I’m proud to be a part of this brand because its goals are very similar to mine.”
Since Palkar came on board in late 2024, Gargi has recorded higher visibility and wider customer engagement. The company says the partnership has helped reinforce Gargi’s position as a brand that speaks to the modern Indian woman seeking a balance between cultural grounding and contemporary preferences.
Gargi operates with the backing of P N Gadgil & Sons, a business with a history close to 200 years. The brand has expanded across Maharashtra with stores in Pune, Mumbai, Thane and Nashik, and now has a presence across India. Gargi’s market capitalization stands at more than Rs 1,100 crore. The continuation of the partnership into 2026 signals the brand’s intent to maintain consistent representation as it grows its customer base and store network.
