Mumbai: Deepika Padukone recently made her debut appearance at the Academy Awards Museum Gala 2023. She became the first Indian actress to receive an invite to the high-profile event and joined other renowned figures such as Meryl Streep, Gemma Chan, Greta Lee, Oprah Winfrey, and Kendall Jenner in a custom-made floor-length velvet gown by Louis Vuitton in deep hues of indigo and violet. She paired her look with Cartier jewellery.

Her outfit at the Gala was a seamless extension of her red carpet appearance at the 95th Academy awards earlier this year, when she wore a black velvet dress with a mermaid silhouette and a flowing train. She paired it with a statement Cartier necklace that featured a stunning pear-shaped yellow diamond at the center. Her velvet gloves were further complemented by a matching diamond bracelet and ring.
