Surat: Charu Jewels recently unveiled its Vivaahrambh 2026 collection as part of its wedding-season strategy, in the presence of women working across fashion, weddings, lifestyle and luxury, with the curated launch intended to connect the new bridal jewellery line to potential customers. The event brought together 10 women whose professional networks are closely linked to the bridal ecosystem and wedding decisions, creating a platform for the collection to reach brides-to-be through conversations and social media.

The invitees included the founder of a pre-draped saree label, a multi-designer boutique owner, a Times of India fashion and trends columnist, a Pilates trainer and lifestyle networker, a bridal make-up artiste, a wedding planner and other women connected with bridal families. Their professional networks gave the collection access to audiences already involved in wedding decisions.

Angee Desai, Creative Director, Charu Jewels, said, “The idea was to create an intimate and curated unveiling experience rather than a large-scale event with a wider audience. We wanted to invite only 10 women who could bring relevance to the launch through their connections with the bridal, fashion, lifestyle and luxury ecosystem. At the same time, the limited guest list was intended to create curiosity and a sense of exclusivity around the collection.”

The two-hour event was structured around curiosity and discovery. The jewellery remained concealed behind a main curtain before five display windows were unveiled. Each window represented a category: rubies, blue gemstones, emeralds, pearls and diamonds. The displays were paired with visual references to fashion and lifestyle, including a red Christian Louboutin heel and Valentino lipstick for the ruby window, while the pearl display incorporated orchids and Chanel references.

The event was designed to help guests view jewellery within a broader lifestyle context. A podcast-style conversation also formed part of the event, with guests discussing what jewellery means within their own professions and personal lives rather than focusing only on products.

For Charu Jewels, Vivaahrambhis an integral part of its annual wedding-season strategy. The brand uses the platform to introduce new designs and engage with bridal customers while gathering insights into how consumers approach jewellery purchase.

The launch also supports the brand’s social media and word-of-mouth marketing. Since the guests were connected to brides, wedding planners and families, their conversations and posts extended the collection’s reach to prospective customers without relying solely on conventional advertising.

Desai said, “The campaign helped create awareness among brides and wedding families that Charu Jewels is a destination they should consider when looking for bridal jewellery. Once they visit the store, we can have a direct conversation, understand what they are looking for and guide them accordingly, which is where the conversion happens.”

For first-time jewellery buyers, particularly younger consumers, such engagement can create familiarity before a purchase conversation begins. It can also give retailers direct insight into changing preferences, supporting future collections and customized offerings.

Desai said the response to Vivaahrambh2026 has translated into increased store visits, with the event helping position it as a strong bridal platform. The annual campaign builds a sustained bridge between the brand’s products and wedding jewellery shoppers.

Charu Jewels is a premier fine diamond and luxury bridal jewellery brand operating a single showroom in Surat.
