Held across Chennai, Madurai, and Pondicherry, the camp provided over 500 employees with health check-ups, consultations, and preventive care

Chennai: Challani Jewellery Mart conducted its annual medical camp on 24th and 25th September 2025 across Chennai, Madurai, and Pondicherry. The initiative was aimed at ensuring the health and well-being of staff members, recognising their role as the first point of contact with customers and key contributors to the brand’s operations.

The two-day camp included health check-ups, consultations with specialised doctors, nurses, and medical staff, as well as access to diagnostic tools and health education materials. Staff received guidance on maintaining their health, and those requiring further attention were referred for follow-up care. The programme aimed to help employees maintain their health and carry out their roles effectively, with over 500 staff members participating in the camp.

“Our staff are at the core of our service. Ensuring their health allows them to engage with customers efficiently and maintain operational standards,” said Jayantilal J. Challani, Managing Director of Challani Jewellery Mart.

The camp also focused on preventive care, providing employees with advice on nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle adjustments. Staff feedback indicated that the programme helped them feel prepared to continue delivering service consistently across Challani stores.

“By investing in our employees’ health, we are also investing in the brand’s reliability and customer experience,” added Challani.

The medical camp serves as part of Challani’s broader approach to employee engagement and brand sustainability. Maintaining a healthy workforce allows the company to ensure uninterrupted service, reinforce customer trust, and strengthen its reputation in the jewellery sector. By integrating staff well-being into its operational strategy, ChallaniJewellery Mart demonstrates how health initiatives can contribute to both workforce readiness and long-term brand performance.
