Indore: Jewellery retailer Punjabi Saraf recently took centre-stage at a Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry – Ladies Organization (FICCI FLO) Indore event, FPL 2.0, as its patron sponsor. The brand played a significant role in bringing together jewellery and couture through a unique stage collaboration with designers, boutique owners and fashion labels.

The brand reported that the event was a success, with approximately 70 women adorned in Punjabi Saraf’s jewellery. It provided a valuable opportunity for direct consumer interaction, allowing the brand to gain insights into customer preferences and trends. The response reaffirmed that, while minimalism is a trend in daily wear, people gravitate toward maximalist designs for special occasions.

Each participating designer from the FICCI FLO Indore Chapter worked closely with the Punjabi Saraf team before the event to select jewellery pieces that perfectly complemented their outfits. A professional stylist ensured that the synergy between fashion and jewellery was seamless. Adding a personal touch, members of FICCI FLO walked the ramp themselves, wearing the brand’s jewellery.

“It was a beautiful blend of creativity and collaboration,” said Vedant Anand, Managing Director, Punjabi Saraf, reflecting on the event’s success. “Bringing together designers and our jewellery pieces created a fresh perspective on how fashion and heritage jewellery can go hand in hand.”

Punjabi Saraf’s involvement extended beyond the fashion show. The brand leveraged its Instagram presence to promote the event, offering followers a glimpse of the designers, models and jewellery selection process. Their social media campaign played a key role in generating buzz and attracting attention from fashion and jewellery enthusiasts across the city.

One of the highlights of the event was an educational session on Polki jewellery. The brand demonstrated the live manufacturing process of Polki jewellery, addressing common myths and providing insights into its craftsmanship. This interactive segment not only engaged the audience but also helped in building awareness about the uniqueness and timeless appeal of Polki pieces.

“We wanted people to truly understand the value of Polki jewellery, beyond just its aesthetics,” Anand explained. “There are many misconceptions, and this session helped educate attendees on its artistry and longevity.”

“This was our first time sponsoring a FICCI FLO Indore spotlight event,” Anand shared. “While we’ve been part of fashion shows earlier, this one stood out because of the strong community engagement and the sheer number of people involved.”

Punjabi Saraf’s presence at FPL 2.0 demonstrated how jewellery brands can contribute meaningfully to fashion events. By combining education, promotion and live interaction, the brand successfully reinforced its reputation as a trusted and innovative name in the jewellery business.

Punjabi Saraf has two retail stores in Indore, with the flagship store located on Racecourse Road and the heritage store located in Sarafa Bazaar.
