‘After Registering for IIJS virtual every visitor needs to visit the exhibitor booths and fix up appointments to have proper meetings one on one with live stocks. Each visitor can do 40 meetings in 5 days’

Shailesh Sangani, the convenor of GJEPC’s national exhibitions. He has a very important message for all registered buyers.

How is the registration going? Is everything going the way you planned?

Already 7,000 people have registered, so we are close to our target of 9,000-10,000 people to attend this year. A lot of queries are still coming in. Things are looking bright and we are hopeful for a brilliant exhibition.

What would you like to tell the people who have registered, and also the ones who are still registering?

My humble request to all retailers and manufacturers is, please register to attend, but as you know, it will not be enough to make the most out of the exhibition. By registering, you are only getting a chance to attend the show. You will only get the look and feel of the show. What you need to do is get into your favourite company’s booth. For that, you can search for the product you are looking for or the company and get into their booth. You will get a preview of their products first. If you like it, you can ask them for permission to enter and check out their entire collection. You can put whatever pieces you want on your wish-list. That way, suppliers will know what you are looking for and be prepared. Next, you can also set up an appointment with a supplier. You will be able to pick up slots available on all the days. A minimum of forty appointments can be taken up as per your convenience, so you can make the most of it. Only once you make an appointment will you be able to check out the products live. Bigger chains can go for their specific needs and get more appointments. Please come forward, and enjoy the exhibition to do well by the industry.
