Bengaluru: Abaran Timeless Jewellery has partnered with ‘Kantara: A Legend Chapter 1’ as the official jewellery partner, aligning the brand with the film’s heritage and folklore narrative of coastal Karnataka. The collaboration connects Abaran’s origins to the film’s setting and allows the brand to engage its audience through a culturally relevant platform. The film releases on October 2, 2025.

The association also includes the launch of commemorative coins in gold and silver, celebrating both the film and Abaran’s legacy. The commemorative coins were released in 4-gram and 8-gram 24-carat gold and 10-gram silver, featuring the Kantara logo on one side and Abaran’s logo on the other. The launch event took place at the Lalith Hotel in Bangalore and included the film’s lead actors Rishab Shetty and Rukmini Vasanth. The coins are available to the public and serve as a collectible item, reflecting the shared heritage of Abaran and Kantara.

Pratap Madhukar Kamath, Director, Abaran Timeless Jewellery, says, “Kantara showcases the folklore and heritage of coastal Karnataka, which is also the birthplace of Abaran. This partnership allows us to connect our brand story with the film and engage audiences through a shared cultural narrative.”

Abaran has created jewellery pieces specifically for the film, integrating its designs with the storyline, characters, and period setting. Kamath explains that the jewellery reflects traditional heritage while appealing to modern audiences, allowing the brand to showcase its craftsmanship in a culturally meaningful context. The pieces highlight Abaran’s expertise in blending legacy designs with contemporary appeal, reinforcing the brand’s positioning in the market.

The association has already generated significant customer engagement. Kamath notes, “We have received strong responses through social media, phone enquiries and direct customer interactions. The partnership is helping us build visibility and strengthen brand recall while connecting with audiences who value heritage and culture.”

Following the film’s release, Abaran plans to feature a Kantara jewellery collection across all its showrooms, so that customers can actually experience the collaboration. “This association allows our brand to reach new audiences and demonstrate our connection to coastal Karnataka’s cultural heritage, which strengthens our brand identity and market presence,” Kamath adds.

At present, Abaran operates three flagship showrooms and two boutiques in Bengaluru. While its core base remains in the city, the brand is focused on strengthening its regional reach without losing connection to its legacy.
