New Delhi: The capital saw the launch of Mayavé, a new lab-grown diamond jewellery brand, this week. The brand has opened its first store at Wave One Mall in Noida, positioning itself at the intersection of contemporary luxury, design and technical craftsmanship.

Mayavé’s retail proposition is built around IGI-certified lab-grown diamonds, set in 9kt and 18kt yellow, white and rose gold. Its portfolio spans engagement rings, layered necklaces, statement jewellery, tennis bracelets and occasion-led pieces.

The brand has collaborated with Italian jewellery designer Massimiliano Bonoli, who has created eight collections for Mayavé. The design language combines classic silhouettes with contemporary detailing and technical precision, with collections including Birds of Glory, Sakura, Timeless, Wings of Freedom and Reflection.

Among the key collections is Seamless Symphony, which features interconnected diamond settings engineered to create fluid movement across individual pieces. Patented locking systems, distinctive diamond cuts and the Mayavé bird insignia embedded into the jewellery further underline the brand’s emphasis on technical craftsmanship and design differentiation.

The Noida store has been conceived as an immersive retail environment, with dedicated sections for solitaire classics, signature collections, cocktail jewellery and high-jewellery-inspired pieces. Private consultation lounges cater to bespoke appointments, while the sculptural display niches and an open layout create a contemporary luxury setting.

Mayavé has also incorporated sustainability measures into its production, including the use of recycled gold, solar-powered manufacturing and recycled water systems.

Commenting on the brand’s vision, Dravya Dholakia, Founder, Mayavé Jewellery, said, “The intention with Mayavé was to create jewellery that feels relevant to modern consumers while still carrying craftsmanship, emotion and longevity. We wanted the experience, the design language and the product itself to feel more aligned with how people wear and connect with jewellery today.”

Mayavé enters the consumer-facing jewellery market with a proposition centred on lab-grown diamonds, design and experiential retail. “It is built for the customer who wants craftsmanship without compromise or the drama around price,” says a communique by the brand, which plans to expand its retail presence across India, with further stores on the horizon.

The brand is housed under Dholakia Retail Private Ltd, and is born out of four decades of the promoter family’s work with the natural diamond manufacturing business through Hari Krishna Exports Pvt. Ltd.
