The conversation-style content series seeks to present both sides of the jewellery-buying process by allowing brides to speak about their experiences, concerns and decision-making moments
Agra: Abhushan Diamonds and Gold has launched the ‘Bridal Mirror’ podcast, a new content series aimed at presenting the bridal jewellery journey through the perspective of brides and wedding decision-makers. The initiative marks a shift from brand-led narratives to conversations that centre on lived wedding experiences, positioning Abhushan as a participant in, rather than a narrator of, bridal discussions.
The podcast was conceived after the brand identified a gap in how bridal jewellery stories are usually communicated. Most marketing efforts focus on the brand’s interpretation of the bride, leaving out the thoughts and considerations that shape jewellery choices. Through this format, Abhushan seeks to present both sides of the jewellery buying process by allowing brides to speak about their experiences, concerns and decision-making moments in their own words.
Speaking on the intent behind the podcast, Aviral Prakash, Director, Abhushan Diamonds and Gold, said, “We realized that we were only telling one side of the story. Through this podcast, we are able to capture what a bride thinks while choosing her jewellery and preparing for her wedding day, which was missing earlier.”
The brand chose a podcast format to allow conversations to unfold without scripts or structured interviews. Episodes are recorded without pre-planned responses, enabling participants to speak freely. According to the brand, this approach helps capture discussions as they occur, rather than shaping them to fit a campaign narrative.
Prakash added, “A podcast allows conversations to happen without preparation or scripts. What comes out is natural, and that is important for us because we want to reflect real thoughts and real journeys.”
‘Bridal Mirror’ is planned as a year-round property rather than a limited series. Episodes will feature brides, grooms and others involved in wedding jewellery decisions, depending on availability. The brand plans to release episodes alongside its bridal campaigns, integrating the content into its broader communication strategy.
From a brand perspective, the podcast supports Abhushan’s objective of building familiarity and recall among brides-to-be. By presenting shared experiences, the series aims to create recognition among listeners who may be going through similar processes. While the long-term impact is yet to be measured, early responses from previous customers indicate interest in participating.
Through the ‘Bridal Mirror’podcast, Abhushan Diamonds and Gold is expanding its engagement within the bridal ecosystem, using conversation-style content to be present across the wedding planning journey rather than only at the point of purchase.
Abhushan Diamonds & Gold Private Limited, established in 2008, operates four stores across Agra, Ferozabad and Aligarh, bringing fine jewellery to customers with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
