The four-film advertising campaign has seen a multi-platform rollout and with gold prices projected to rise further, it could create even more traction among value-conscious bridal jewellery buyers

Hyderabad: Panna Jewellers Exclusive has unveiled a four-film brand campaign that positions its lightweight bridal jewellery as a great value proposition. The regional language ad campaign highlights how modern brides and wedding attendees seek traditional designs without the weight and cost associated with conventional bridal ornaments. The campaign responds directly to shifting consumer expectations in South India.

The campaign idea took shape entirely on the basis of customer feedback to have more visual story-telling around the brand’s value proposition. Thus the campaign emphasizes the brand’s core proposition: traditional-looking jewellery crafted in significantly lower gold weight. Most jewellery pieces showcased in the campaign films range between 15 and 25 grams, reaffirming the brand’s effort to merge aesthetics with affordability. One of the films even demonstrates six complete necklace-and-earring sets weighing under 100 grams collectively.

Explaining the impetus behind the campaign, Devansh Alijar, Chief Marketing Officer, PJE Jewels Pvt Ltd, said customer conversations have been the strongest compass for the brand’s decision-making. “Brides today want jewellery that looks grand but feels effortless—and our role is to deliver that without compromising design integrity. Lightweight bridal pieces let women enjoy the occasion without feeling the weight of the jewellery,” Alijar said.

The tagline ‘So Much For So Less’ forms the narrative backbone of the campaign, showcasing the brand’s ability to provide 100 to 500 design options under Rs 3 lakh. According to Alijar, price sensitivity and rising gold rates have accelerated demand for such collections.

The campaign’s execution also marks a strategic shift for the Hyderabad-based jeweller, traditionally not into advertising. Partnering with a local director, the team developed short, platform-specific films aimed at reaching a wider wedding-driven audience across South India. The YouTube-format versions have already begun circulating, while Instagram reels will follow to strengthen shareability. The brand also plans in-theatre advertising and placement on OTT platforms before Christmas, extending visibility across Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Tamil Nadu.

Early response has been positive, with the campaign being widely shared across customer networks. However, Panna Jewellers Exclusive notes that it is still too early to quantify impact on store traffic or sales. “It’s only been a few days since the films went live, but the engagement tells us the message is resonating. Lightweight bridal jewellery is no longer a niche—it’s becoming a natural choice,” said Alijar.

The jeweller, known for drawing shoppers from Bengaluru, Chennai, Mumbai and Pune specifically for its lightweight offerings, says the films help reinforce clarity around its product strength. With gold prices projected to rise further, the brand expects this category to gain even more traction among value-conscious bridal buyers.

Panna Jewellers Exclusive currently operates a single store on M.G. Road, Hyderabad, supported by regular exhibitions held in various South Indian cities.
