The jeweller’s aim is to leverage the event running from December 2 to December 31, 2025 to build brand recall, audience reach and continuity of engagement with the city’s evolving consumer base

Vadodara: Damodardas Jewellers has partnered with the Vadodara Family Fest 2025, running from December 2 to December 31, 2025, aiming to achieve high visibility through the month-long event. While the festival continues to draw large crowds with entertainment and family activities held daily from 6:30 pm to 11:00 pm, the jeweller’s role is about brand presence, audience reach and continuity of engagement with the city’s evolving consumer base.

The Vadodara Family Fest has been active for the past five to six years. The brand’s involvement is not a one-off visibility initiative but part of a consistent approach to remain present in high-footfall public spaces. With an estimated 5,000–6,000 visitors every day, the festival offers a concentrated environment where brands can reinforce awareness within a local, diverse audience. For Damodardas Jewellers, this translates into deeper brand recall than single event associations.

Explaining the insight behind this approach, Ravi Choksi, Partner, Damodardas Jewellers, says, “For us, the festival is about presence. When thousands gather in one place every evening, it becomes a natural touchpoint to remind the city who we are and where we come from.” His comment reflects the brand’s belief that consistent exposure at community gatherings plays a long-term role in anchoring its name in the minds of local residents.

This year, the jeweller focused entirely on branding-led activation. Their presence includes a prominently designed photo booth, which has become a steady attraction for visitors who use it to click pictures and post them on social media platforms. The brand avoided any on-ground promotional offers or jewellery showcases, after internal assessment that the festival’s value lies in visibility rather than direct retail engagement.

A noticeable trend at the festival is the strong presence of younger attendees, a segment that increasingly influences jewellery buying patterns in the city. This aligns with the brand’s objective of engaging emerging customer groups in informal, familiar environments rather than only through traditional marketing channels. Choksi adds, “Partnerships like these help us stay visible to the younger generation. Their buying behaviour is evolving, and being present in spaces they engage with keeps the brand connected to future customers.”

The brand has been part of Vadodara’s retail fabric since 1961, and despite the competitive landscape, the store continues to attract steady customers. Choksi attributes this to the brand’s legacy and the trust built over decades, but emphasizes that legacy alone is not enough. Regular participation in public events, print and outdoor advertising remain essential to maintaining brand relevance.

Damodardas Jewellers’ association with the Vadodara Family Fest 2025 reflects a clear direction: investing in community platforms that ensure recognition, maintain relevance across age groups and strengthen long-term recall without relying on short-term sales triggers.

The jeweller operates two stores in Vadodara – one at M. G. Road and another at Alkapuri.
