Guwahati: Manik Chand Jewellers recently stepped in to support the student community of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Guwahati campus for Eternia 2025, the institute’s annual cultural and sports festival, held from November 27 to 30. This marks the jeweller’s third year of partnering the flagship event, highlighting its ongoing relationship with the country’s future healthcare professionals.

Reflecting on the partnership, Mahatva Soni, Director, Manik Chand Jewellers, said, “We have stood alongside Eternia from the very beginning. Watching it grow with each edition has made this association truly special. It is important to encourage students who balance a demanding academic life yet come forward to showcase their talents confidently.”

This year’s Eternia had sports competitions including football, basketball and cricket, while fun activities such as treasure hunt, tug of war and an escape room kept the energy high. On the cultural side, the first evening brought together around 400 attendees for dance performances, battle of bands, instrumental pieces and a student-led fashion show. The final night drew close to 800 people from across the city for a lively DJ performance, turning the campus into a festive celebration zone, and giving the brand maximum mileage.

Beyond partnering the festival, Manik Chand Jewellers also introduced special benefits for the AIIMS community. Professors, doctors and senior students can avail attractive jewellery purchase privileges at the Guwahati store until Diwali 2026. Customers simply have to present their AIIMS ID card to avail the benefits.

Soni added, “These privileges ensure that our association continues to mean something for the professors, doctors and senior students well beyond the four days of the festival.”

Soni summed up the partnership, saying, “Every edition of Eternia brings something new. It is inspiring to see the commitment these young individuals show in their journey to becoming medical professionals. If our presence adds even a small amount of motivation to their efforts, we are happy to be a part of it.”

Through consistent support to Eternia, Manik Chand Jewellers has built a meaningful connection with the medical community in Guwahati while supporting the talent and ambition of those who are preparing to serve society in the years ahead.

Manik Chand Jewellers has six stores – four in Guwahati, one in Silchar and one in Shillong.
