By maintaining a regular calendar of social initiatives, the brand aims to reinforce a culture of giving within the organization and in the local communities it serves
Patna: Ratnalaya Jewellers has continued its monthly corporate social responsibility initiative supporting underserved communities, in association with the Robin Hood Army and the Ratnalaya Charitable Trust. The most recent drive focused on underprivileged children, with the brand distributing food and essential supplies.
For the jeweller, community engagement is not tied to specific occasions or calendar-driven events. Instead, it operates as a structured, recurring activity, with dedicated days each month when aid is distributed through partner organizations. “We provide food for over 500 people each month, and the idea is very simple — as a brand, it is important to do something good for society,” said Saket Keshri, Director, Ratnalaya Jewellers. “We cannot change the world overnight, but we can still all try and make this world a better place to live.”
The jewellery brand works with the Robin Hood Army to identify the right beneficiaries for food distribution while also supporting several other charitable initiatives through the Ratnalaya Charitable Trust, its CSR wing active for the past three to four years. The Trust collaborates with various organizations to provide stationery, clothing, blankets and other essential resources, depending on the needs of the community being reached.
While many brands mark festivals or national days with charity, this programme is designed to continue consistently throughout the year. The recent activity was recorded through photos and videos and shared on Instagram and the brand’s website, but Keshri emphasized that the intent remains impact over promotion. “It’s not something we want to showcase aggressively. Our customers learn about it if they want to — we do it for people, and it’s important to highlight the value of people,” he said.
Beyond monthly outreach, the brand also conducts blood donation camps every quarter. By maintaining a regular calendar of social initiatives, Ratnalaya Jewellers aims to reinforce a culture of giving within the organization and in the local communities it serves.
The jewellery brand operates three stores across Bihar, with one store each at Hathwa Market and Kankarbagh, and a recently opened one at Danapur.
