From store expansion to skill-building, India’s jewellery retailers are prioritising people and progress.
INCLUSIVE FINANCIAL EDUCATION INITIATIVE
Manubhai Jewellers recently conducted a financial planning session aimed at empowering employees—particularly women—with knowledge on tax regimes, investment strategies, and long-term financial planning. Held at their Mumbai and Thane branches, the initiative saw enthusiastic participation from over 133 employees. Led by Prashant Tiwari, CEO of Intus Wealth, the session covered the differences between old and new tax systems, insurance options, and retirement planning. Employees received follow-up support through direct contact with the trainer, and their feedback highlighted increased financial confidence and independence. The initiative reflects the brand’s ongoing commitment to employee welfare and gender-inclusive empowerment.

EXCELLENCE IN SAFETY
GIVA’s Bengaluru warehouse was recently recognised by the Karnataka State Government
for achieving 3rd place in statutory compliance and safety—a remarkable achievement within
just three months of its launch. This recognition highlights the brand’s strong commitment
to operational excellence, employee wellbeing, and adherence to safety standards. The
accomplishment was made possible through the dedicated efforts of both the HR and warehouse teams, whose collaboration and attention to detail ensured a safe, efficient, and compliant work environment for its employees.
STRENGTH, SAFETY, AND SOLIDARITY
Senco Gold & Diamonds launched the “AtmaShakti” initiative, a self-defense training program for female employees at its head office, in celebration of Women’s Day 2025. The program is designed to enhance not only physical safety but also build inner strength, resilience, and confidence among participants. By creating a platform for empowerment, Senco reinforces its commitment to a secure, inclusive, and supportive workplace. AtmaShakti fosters a strong sense of community and ensures that women employees feel protected, respected, and ready to face any challenge.
