Recognizing the evolving preferences of younger consumers, the brand is educating shoppers on gemstone selection and quality
Indore: Leading jewellery brand Punjabi Saraf has launched its popular Ringsutra Festival, introducing a fresh and contemporary approach to gemstone jewellery. This marks the second edition of the festival, with a focus on fast-moving, gift-worthy designs tailored to modern tastes.
Unlike traditional marketing strategies, the campaign adopts a digital-first approach. The brand has invested heavily in enhancing its e-commerce platform, ensuring customers can experience its latest collection online. One of the key features of the campaign is the ‘Heritage to Home’ initiative, allowing customers to book virtual consultations. Through this digital service, shoppers can receive expert guidance in selecting their perfect ring, making it a personalized and interactive experience.
To promote the Ringsutra Festival, the brand is launching an exclusive campaign featuring detailed macro-shot videos that emphasize the designs of each ring. A series of social media and e-commerce images will also be released, providing customers with a closer look at the collection.
While the festival’s timing aligns with Valentine’s Day, the campaign extends beyond the romantic occasion. “We as a brand acknowledge a growing trend of self-purchasing among women, making the collection an ideal choice for personal gifting. With the tagline ‘Timeless Rings for Timeless Bonds’ the festival celebrates self-love, confidence, and meaningful connections beyond just romantic relationships,” said Vishesh Anand, Creative Director of Punjabi Saraf.
In addition to online accessibility, the brand is incorporating a ‘Perfect Ring Finder’ consultation, helping consumers choose rings that best suit their preferences and needs.
While diamonds and gold remain staples in the collection, this festival places a special emphasis on precious gemstones. Recognizing the evolving preferences of younger consumers, the brand is educating shoppers on gemstone selection and quality. The collection features an array of exquisite pieces, including diamond rings ranging from 0.50 to 1.5 carats, adorned with pink sapphires, tanzanites, and rubies—offering a vibrant alternative to traditional emeralds, which, according to the brand’s research, have reached market saturation.
The collection will be available both in-store and online from mid-February through the end of the month.
Talking about the brand’s expansion plans and activities beyond India, Anand said, “With successful exhibitions in Bahrain and Sharjah last year, we are doubling down on engagement with Middle Eastern markets.” The brand’s upcoming international showcases in Sharjah over the next few months aim to cater to the region’s growing interest in Indian jewellery.
“Indian designs and craftsmanship have garnered significant attention in the Middle East. Our goal is not to open physical stores but to enhance our digital and international presence,” Anand added.
Punjabi Saraf is a retail jewellery business based in Indore, with over 75 years of history. Besides its flagship store at Race Course Road in Indore, it has one more retail outlet at Sarafa Bazar in the same city.
